I am a complete tard.  BUT LOOK PINK HAIR.

(Way too dark.  Way too bright.  I still like it.)

I can’t even function properly right now.  I don’t want to do anything.  I just want to have a good, long talk with someone—except that there’s no way I can explain what happened without sounding like a gullible, spineless idiot.  There’s only one person I want to talk to anyway.

God damn, life.  When do you get easy?

I just looked over to see that Indigo had placed his teddy directly in the center of his bed and was using the corner like a pillow.

It’s 3 AM. I’m super drunk. I stole a garage sale sign and climbed a high school. What is my life.

The thing about the mall is… sometimes you go to get glasses. And then you need a bathing suit. And you end up with a dress, also. Because that’s life.

worksofwalt:

As I mentioned before, Sleeping Beauty is one of my all-time favourite Disney movies. Sometimes, if I think too hard, I wonder why, because it doesn’t suit me at all. Princess Aurora does even less than Snow White or Cinderella, she barely has a personality, and all of the merchandising plasters her in pink. So why do I like this movie so much?

Well, among other reasons, Prince Phillip. THIS is a hero. Disney has a tendency of having the villain self-destruct in some way. For example, in Snow White, the witch tries to push a boulder onto the dwarfs and loses her footing in the process, falling to her death. There are plenty of explanations for this, but one of the main ones is that it keeps the hero’s hands clean. Snow White (or the dwarfs) didn’t kill the evil queen, it was her own fault. Death by irony. But Sleeping Beauty doesn’t follow that pattern. Sure he had help, but Prince Phillip slays Maleficent himself. He gets his hands dirty and plunges his sword straight into her heart.

For all of Aurora’s inaction, the act of Prince Phillip fighting his way through the brambles and fearlessly taking on the dragon cements his place as Disney’s greatest Prince.

^  This.
Easily one of my favourite Disney movies that follows the princess template.  (Certainly my favourite classic.)

The sentence doesn’t actually have any internal punctuation; it’s an old proverb.  I imagine that if we were to include commas, it would actually be “This, too, shall pass.”
